Founded in 1999 the Superstition Serpentarium is home to a wide array of both venomous and non-venomous reptiles and invertebrates including dozens of species of snakes, lizards, turtles, scorpions, spiders, and even giant centipedes. Visitors will receive an up close look at these species and more, learning about them and their habits. Very educational for all ages. We are located at Goldfield Ghost Town Arizona, just outside of Apache Junction on scenic highway 88, also known as The Apache Trail, at the base of the Superstition Mountains.

UPDATE March 2017- King Cobra, Monocled Cobra, Gaboon Vipers, Rhinoceros Viper and Bush Vipers all on display! Along with species native to the southwest including many species of rattlesnakes as well as Gila Monsters and more!

West African Gaboon Viper -Bitis gabonica rhinoceros now on display.

Monocled Cobra- Naja kaouthia now on display. We also have an Albino Monocled Cobra on display!

Southwestern Speckled Rattlesnake- C.m.pyrrhus, we have two color variations displayed.

                                                                                   Variable Bush Viper- Atheris squamigera, we have two color morphs for you to see. Red and yellow green!

Reticulated Gila Monster-H.s.suspectum, we also display the Banded Gila Monster.

Sonoran Giant Centipede -Scolopendra heroes arizonensis on display.

Giant Desert Hairy Scorpion -Hadrurus arizonensis pallidus

Arizona Bark Scorpion-Centruroides sculpturatus one of several species of scorpion displayed and the most venomous scorpion in Arizona.

Canyon Lake Rust Rump Tarantula- Aphonopelma schmidti.
